Our take
The 16.4-foot cord is the specification that decides whether this works for you, because it has to reach from the cigarette lighter to the boot. On most saloons it just does; on a large SUV it is tight enough to be annoying. Running off 12V rather than a battery means it never dies halfway through a footwell, which is the single most irritating thing about cordless car vacuums, and the trade is that you are tethered and cannot use it away from the car. The inflator is the more useful half. As a vacuum it handles footwell grit and pet hair on hard trim, not embedded dirt in carpet pile.
Best for: Drivers who want inflation and light vacuuming from one cheap 12V unit
What works
- Never runs out of charge mid-job
- Cord reaches the boot on most cars
- Inflator and vacuum for under forty dollars
What doesn't
- Tethered to the 12V socket
- Modest suction by design at this price
- Cord is tight on large SUVs
