A portable CarPlay screen is the answer when you want the interface without paying somebody to open your dashboard. This one mounts to the dash and takes power from the 12V socket, so fitting is a few minutes' work and it moves between cars. Read the audio path carefully though: sound routes over Bluetooth or an FM transmitter, and FM sounds like FM. If your car already has Bluetooth audio, use that instead.
