Trim-to-fit means these arrive as oversized rubber trays with grid lines printed on the underside, and you cut them down with shears. That is not the same thing as a laser-scanned liner, and it is worth being honest about the trade: you get deep channels and a nib backing that grips carpet for $59.90, but the edges will only ever be as neat as your cutting. If the footwell has awkward contours or a raised transmission tunnel, a moulded liner will sit better. As a cheap upgrade over the flat mats most cars ship with, it does the job.
