Our take
Use it before the vacuum, never after. A cordless duster moves dust out of vents, seams and switchgear and deposits most of it somewhere else in the cabin, so the sequence that works is blow everything loose, then vacuum, then wipe. Get that order wrong and you redistribute what you just picked up. The quoted 45 metres per second is real but sits far below workshop compressed air, which means it will not drive embedded grit out of carpet pile and was never going to.
Best for: Vents, seams, switchgear and anywhere a vacuum nozzle will not reach
What works
- No canned air to keep buying
- Gets between vent slats properly
- Light enough to hold for a full session
What doesn't
- Redistributes dust if used out of sequence
- Far weaker than workshop compressed air
- Runtime limits it to one car per charge
